On Monday the 8th we had our 28th annual Golf Tournament, a benefit for UC Davis Cancer Research, this year at Valley Hi Country Club. Last year we donated $35,000 (You can read about it here) to the cause following a successful and fun day. This year was no different. Weather was perfect, everyone was at their best. BBQ Dinner and a Raffle that finished out the day on a great note. Thank you to everyone who sponsored and donated to this important cause. We will be back to do it again next year!
June is perfect patio weather too, so take advantage before it gets too hot. Evenings cool off perfectly right now, and boating season is under way, so lots of boats running up and down the river.
Speaking of the river, we have it under good authority that the marina is finally going to open in July, after a very long wait of 18 years. The Westin is starting to sell slips which is a good sign. There will be plenty of room for boats to park and come up for lunch, dinner or snacks in the lounge. There are just a couple of maintenance issues to overcome and it’ll be ready to go. Keep your fingers crossed!
