JULY 2025 – NEWS

“Salads and lighter style dining. My favorites are the Peach and Burrata Salad followed by the Pacific Rim Salad with Ahi. Perfect for a summer evening. We are working on our fall menu already so if you have any comments or suggestions, please email me at–“

June got pretty hot, pretty fast but it didn’t stop us having fun at Valley Hi Country Club for our annual Golf Tournament, a fundraiser for Cancer Research at UC Davis Cancer Center. Last year we donated $23,000 and it’s looking like we did a little better this year, our 28th year.

It was a busy month in June as we hosted a Patron Tequila Tasting and the Rainbow Chamber of Commerce mixer.

The patio took center stage most evenings, depending on weather conditions. It’s a dance, empty until the mercury drops, then full to overflowing in moments, creating interesting challenges for our front desk folks, who maintain their composure in a professional and friendly way. I think they have one of the most difficult jobs in the restaurant and do it well.

July is all about staying cool in our air conditioned restaurant and lounge, with many summer sippers to choose from on our cocktail list, summer wines like the Heringer Estates Chenin Blanc or the Albarino from Lambeth Wines, both local wineries. Salads and lighter style dining. My favorites are the Peach and Burrata Salad followed by the Pacific Rim Salad with Ahi. Perfect for a summer evening.

We are working on our fall menu already so if you have any comments or suggestions, please email me at alanirvine@scottsseafoodontheriver.com.

As always, thank you for your support. See you on the river!
